KIREIP and the community

Hydro Tasmania values the importance of the local community being informed and consulted about changes that affect them. The KIREIP hopes to provide plenty of opportunities for people to be informed and get involved in the project if they wish and to share their thoughts.  Read about some of the latest events below.

We have been really pleased at the level of support and interest the community has taken in wanting to join the KIREIP community consultative committee. We look forward to working with the committee to help guide the project towards its successful delivery to the King Island community.

Upcoming events:

Jen McDonnell from the Smart Grid team is available to visit you in your home or business to learn about the Smart Grid and how you can be invovled. Please call 1300 360 441 or smartgridsupport@hydro.com.au to arrange a time. For the month of April we have increased the donation to a King Island non-profit organisation of your choice from $50 to $100 so sign up now to support your group.
